I envisage my blog to be the electronic diary of my artistic journey. My journey of becoming a recognised artist. Thought I'd start with a couple of photos from one of my projects - taking photos every week around our home for a year. I really enjoy transferring digital images onto fabric and then creating quilted collages with these and other materials. In April this year we were visiting friends for Easter lunch and she showed me her photo a day for a year project. This started many creative thoughts and I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to not only improve my photography but also by concentrating on taking photos in my most immediate surrounds it would also encourage me to see creative opportunity in my everyday life.
